Back to winning ways. Five star performance from Craig “Wozzer” Worral lifts Excelsior to victory.

With the Eden and Auto's smashings fresh in the memory we went in to this one with the winning mentality and a new 3-5-2 formation.

Simply put, tackles flying in all over the manor from Fiss, Spittle and the inspirational White in the middle of the park won us this game.

We simply did not let them play and had them out numbered in the main zones of the pitch.

We did set off at our usual training pace and as you would expect we went one down through a badly defended corner.

But it didn't take long befire Pump were knocked off their sugar pedestal, the rain came down on it in the shape two, one after the other, 30 yard stunners from Worral and he soon had the hatter lined up when he was gifted a third before the break.

Half Time 3-1

Second half and more of the same from Excelsior. With the pump having one of their worst games we took full advantage and banged three more in. Two more for Worral and a great solo effort from Spittle after some hard work in the middle of the park.

Great game, good hard work for 90 minutes - good to see lads. Well done.
