Excelsior agonisingly crashed out of the cup this morning to Progress 4-2. Match report to follow from Fiss

It seems like months ago that we spanked Layton Juniors to set up our Semi Final on Sunday against Progress Sports & Social.

Better late than never boys, here are the photos from the Ship on 23 March 2008.

Listen chaps, I've been thinking about this one for a while. It's taken some thinking about mainly because i'm tight with my money (yes, I've not forgotten you owe the Royal Bank of Fiss £10 Scholesy).

Here it is.

Another Sunday away from the fortress and another shocking pitch.

Its a tough job trying to get money out of people, as those who have tried know. Its even harder to get money out people after football training/matches on sunday.

What a relief to be playing on a decent surface after playing on the grass and soil covered moon that is Blackpool Rd.

Even if the changing rooms have a certain human faeces smell, which at 10am is quite over powering, we were all glad to be back at the fortress.

At 2 minutes to kick off it was more like abandon ship as our opposition struggled to scrape together an eleventh man. The final Shipmate, Bruce, made his waddle over to pitch 5 like a lost lamb on a production line at an abattoir.

10 minutes late and The Ship has their full compliment.

The rest of this seasons fixtures are now on the site, game every Sunday for the next 7 weeks, plus a Wednesday nighter.

Don't forget team day/night out Easter Sunday starting in Excelsior at 2pm.
