A win in today’s final game of the season would see FC Excelsior take a credible fifth place finish in the league and complete a great run of winning games.

A View from the Sidelines

Most of you will know Gaz Turton who often comes down to watch the mighty Excelsior. He is also player/manager at N&B Albion and Horsemans Hill down at Bispham tech Thursday and Friday leagues.

Gaz has asked to put a few words here on the site to give his opinion on the team from what he has seen this season, so here they are:

Waiting for an Excelsior clean sheet is like waiting for a bus. You wait all season for one, then two come along at the same time. With the Macca's looking to prove they are no weak link it's no surprise we got our second so soon.

A hot Wednesday evening down at Moor Park, the fortress gates opened up for our travelling side, Ansdell. Four places and 13 points separate the sides in the league, with the in form Excelsior the higher of the two.

End of Season Amsterdam Trip

Also, George has put his time and effort into this so lets take it seriously.
