no need for a report this week thanks to Mr Fyldesport so just my ratings. Nice pictures, someone cold have ironed our shirts beforehand though!

Hunty - excellent game, good saves and kicking, number 1 at the moment no dispute - 8
Daz Worrall - Another steady game, good distribution - 7
Marc Green - No mistakes and very comfortable - 8
Per - won some good headers and kept the back 4 solid - 8
Neil - Few shaky moments but some good tackles - 7
Scholes - By passed alot of the time, couldn't get into it like last week - 6
Fiss - Suffered first half same as Scholes seem to find more space when George came on - 7
Lizzie - Good running again, not as influencial this week, hope you found your top!! - 7
Wozza - Bad day at the office for the big man in front of goal, cant do it every game though - 6
Sean - Worked he channels and got his goal this week - 7
George - Made a difference in the middle with his own style - 8
Hopes - Good involvement,got his first Excelsior goal too- 7
Nico - No nonsense, same as - 7

In everyones defence, mainly the forwards the pitch was very bobbly and it was hard to get any shots/crosses away properly, another day and on the flat squires gate pitch it could have been 8-0 with Woz getting 4. Another clean sheet, top work fellas and Scholesy you left your dummy with Lizzie's jacket.

Hunty- 9 Only a couple of good saves to make but kicking was first class, could have had 3 assists.
Neil- 7.5 Good recovering from being out of position, i think? Seems to be there when needed though.
Greeno- 7.5 Better this week, bit to much moaning. Rich i know!
Per- 8 Wasnt beating his man in the air at first but as game went on got the better and had him in his pocket by the end.
Lizz- 7 Some good running considering the bog he was trying to dribble through. End product still not quite there.
Mercer- 7 Different style but same as above.
Scholsey- 7 Didnt stand out this week but decent game none the less.
Fiss- 9 No moaning anymore, at me anyway, only encourages and had a good game.
Sean- 7.5 Good goal, worked hard, still not making right decisions though.
Craig- 7 Funny one to rate, good game but if he'd scored a few of his chances would have been 9.

George- 8 Really good 25 mins.
Hopes- 7.5 Good ball for craig and good finish.
Nico- 7 Not to much to do but did it well.

MOM- Hunty and Fiss outfield. One moment stuck out when Fiss thought i was having a niggle at Craig and he basicly told craig not to listen and praised his run instead. Good to see in captain and played well to. (I was only taking piss out of craigs shot though, not having a go)

As fyldesport said (and me last week) were not making the right decisions in final third and my bro hasnt been on song last few games. Im sure it'll come soon. Defensively i think we've been pretty good for a while and we scramble well when out of position no matter whos playing there. Cant lose if we keep keeping clean sheets.

Another said note Scholsey has decided to leave us for pastures new he hasnt given me a reason but he has asked for a transfer to spindles. i would like him to stay but like i said last week i wont stop anyone going.

Spot on match stats there i would say and sporty was thank god spot on with his. We dominated just couldnt finish them off, a good judgement but one thing i would say is yeh i no BAD PITCH but what i would say is more composure is needed in front of goal and our decision making at times could be better.

boys can hardly say we were all oer them really, if they hd a decent striker we would of been in trouble really . first half we lacked composure and a leader at the back and if it wasn't for neil and good saes from massimo taibiin them pants we could of been chasing it
we need to start picking it up becasue if we play like against a decent team in our league we wont be so lucky. we may be top of the league but need to keep on our toes to stay there

Dezzy Warrel - Awesome passes down the right still needs that bit of aggression for me - 7
Neil - My MOM tackled well all over the pitch excellent sweeping up and showed great fitness down the wing - 8
Greenday - read the game well as always and vocally was a rock for the team in harsh conditions - 7
Big Per - Awesome display in the second half, found his feet and that big lad got nothing from him - 7.25
Mercer - Not an easy game as the pitch didn't allow for the neat passes and dribbling side of the game - 7
Thin Lizzy - Found his feet in the second half (away from the ice rink)- 7
Scholesy - Difficult game for both central midfielders, quite often the midfield were getting by-passed. In those situations a harder shift needs to be put in - 7
Fiss - as above, not an easy game for the central midfield, led by example, encouraged and showed great captain qualaties throughout - 7.5
Sean - Not helped by the pitch, some poor decision making, but levels of effort and determination through the game were faultless. - 7.5
Wazza - Suffered with the pitch, not akin to his game, could have had four but ended up with none - had to happen someday pal! - 7

Hopesy - showed good composure when he came on couple of top notch passes and bagged our important second - 7
Georgy - brutal tackling and accurate passing upon his introduction - 7
Nico - Slipped straight in to gear like the finely tuned machine he is - 7

Good game on a bad pitch men but it was good to see the different qualities that we needed to come through it. They were no mugs and it was good to see us not panic and keep persisting with the football throughout.
Stevey D is right about our squad, we have a good spirit and if we play as a team, encourage and have a turn out like we did on sunday then we should be looking at division 1 next year. Its not a given yet and gainst the better teams we ar going to have to be with it from the first minute and show a little more determination all over the pitch. If people have problems with the selections then it would be more constructive to speak to Steve and try to see where he is coming from as it is not an easy job. Lets keep the morale going and get behind the lads on the pitch knowing that, like sunday, if changes are needed, we have a squad to strengthen out team during the course of the game.

Huntelarr - 9 - 1st class. Ross can only dream of being as good as Hunty.
Dezzy - 7 - Good game again. Looking up at alot. Still needs to turn down the craig radar when on the ball.
Lamba Greeny - 8 - Back to his best. Still the mouth but I'm working on him.
Big Per - 8 - Couldn't fault him, top game. Made their big forward his bitch for the most of the game.
Neil - 8 - HERO moment off the line boosted the rating. All round good game and tried to get forward.
Mercer - 6 - Quiet game and not in it. Needs to let loose and get his knee's dirty in such bad conditions.
Scholes - 1 - Fuck it he's left and had a mare.
Lizzy - 7 - Did his best in the shit trying to run at the full back. Needs to either pull the trigger or play the ball once he's past the defender.
Sean - 8 - Another great game. Well taken header for probably our quickest ever goal from KO.
Woz - 7 - Really felt for him on sunday, it was just not the pitch for silk and he suffered. Movement was great, passing was also great but you will tend to be judged by most for your goals, 23 is plenty!

Good cup win. We came away with it with no injuries on a bad pitch, Steve couldn't ask for more. In my opinion we were the better team and deserved to win. We did manage to play some nice stuff and we got about them. Hunty and Neil did keep us in it but thats what we're there to do so it's not really a let off in my eyes just doing your bit. The goals will come with the amount of chances we are creating, a big big win is around the corner.
Wish Scholes all the best and fingers crossed we draw Spindles in the next round, I've been wanting to smash him for some time now!!!!
