Mills Injury Update

Breaking news on Mills Injury (plus, bonus pictures).

Millsy had a call yesterday only hours after being released to say that they were not happy with the outcome of the surgery and he is now back in hospital to have more work done.

Hopefully this is not a further complication and just a minor resetting/tweaking/whatever they do.

Some of you have put forward ideas for merchandise we can sell to raise awareness, although t-shirts with the slogan "Save Heathers Leg" might not go down too well with the general public.

In all seriousness I hope everything is ok - from what I can gather from Mills himself he isn't too worried and this shouldn't effect his recovery.

update on today about Heather

Friday 18th Chris has had further surgery, two an a half hours. They have repaired a ruptured ligament and put another nail through two bones to hold them together. In over night tonight should be out Saturday afternoon. Doctors say it could be 6 to 8 months before he can kick a ball. He's had a really rough week. But things can only get better.

Millsy Update

Chris is now out of hospital and in need of someone giving him a slap as he's bad tempered and grumpy. To be fair he's still in a lot of pain.Dr's are positive and say he'll be able to play again but will take 12 months. His surgeon was highly delighted as this was the first time he'd seen an injury like this. Please keep in touch with him, as he'll be up for watching the next game.

volunteers required

i will be the first to line up to volunteer to hand out the slapping to heather.
for all other interested parties, please form an orderly queue!!
see ya wednesday millsy if neil will pick you up.
if we get enough deckchairs down to moor park, maybe the council will take pity and put a bench in! (that'll still be more progress than oystons south stand!)
xx
